Mr Carl Guerin-Hassett graduated from King’s College London with a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science but instead of following his head into the City he followed his heart into teaching. He initially mentored deprived and disengaged students before deciding he wanted to pursue a career that allowed him to mix his passion for mathematics with a sense of moral purpose and pride, so completed a Graduate Teacher Programme to gain Qualified Teacher Status.
In 2009 Mr Guerin-Hassett was then awarded Advanced Skills Teacher (AST) status and supported the development of teaching within his school and at the local university.
Mr Guerin-Hassett has over ten years of leadership experience in exceptional schools across London and Kent. He was successfully accredited with her National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in 2019 and is looking forward to providing an exceptional education provision for the Hoo Peninsula.
