A big thank you to Alexander for giving up 40 minutes of this time to talk to our 6th form student at The Hundred of Hoo Academy who is interested in becoming a Prison Officer. Alexander was able to give his honest, open opinion and advice on the working life of a Prison Officer. He was able to talk through what his job entails on a day-to-day basis, along with the highs and lows of the job. It was great to hear first hand about the apprenticeship route that Alexander is currently on and he has now inspired our 6th former.
Virtual career conversations are a fantastic opportunity for our students to be able to ask the nitty gritty questions they may not be able to ask during a general careers interview and who better to advise than a person who fulfils that role?
