What an amazing opportunity for one Year 13 student on Friday where he got to virtually meet Alec Byhurst, a Junior Aerodynamics Design Engineer at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Alec is an alumni of The Hundred of Hoo and left in 2013. He always had this as his dream career in mind and we are so pleased to see he finally made it to working in Formula One. The academy came back into contact with Alex utilising our LinkedIn alumni portal. This is why we love to hear from our alumni; not only to see them succeed but now Alec’s advice and support has gone full circle and he is now inspiring our current students.
