After winning the Kent U16 Girls Table Tennis Event, our Year 10 GCSE PE pupils progressed to the South East Regional Finals this past Sunday, where they achieved an incredible 3rd place finish! Grace and Roxie-Marie came agonisingly close to securing 2nd place and progressing to the National Semi-Finals in Birmingham, with just a handful of points making the difference against the school representing East Sussex. Despite the 5.5-hour round trip, the girls displayed resilience, focus, and exceptional sportsmanship throughout. Mr Hassett (Principal), the PE department, and the entire Hundred of Hoo Academy community are extremely proud of their journey, achievements, and progress. We look forward to seeing them back in action next year, as both will still qualify for the U16 category! Well done, girls! Your determination is truly inspiring.
