On Friday 11th March, Sara Parfett, a former student at The Hundred of Hoo Academy, and Olympic rower who made her debut with the GB Team senior squad in 2017 visited the Academy as part of International Women’s Day to meet and present awards to our young and exceptional female athletes. The ‘Olympic Spirit Award for Girls’ was presented to each of our three colleges; Neptune, Forseti and Athena.
Sara was awarded Medway Junior Sportsperson of the year during her time at Hoo and it was great having Sara meet our pupils and help to inspire them to be just as successful in their chosen sports
