Key Stage 5: Years 12 and 13

Key Stage 5

Key Stage 5 is two years (Year 12 and 13) and all pupils will access a minimum of 3 subjects. Each subject is given 10 hours of curriculum time across the two week timetable. Double qualifications will be given 20 periods.

Sixth Form Pathways:

Pathway One

Pupils access 4 Level 3 courses; this could be a combination of A-Level and BTEC Qualifications (IAG will ensure that the appropriate choices are made based upon level 2 results)

Pathway Two: 

Pupils access 4 Level 3 courses, one of which will be EPQ. The remaining 3 will be a combination of A-Level and BTEC qualifications.

Pathway Three: 

Pupils access 3 Level 3 courses. This will be a combination of A-Level and BTEC qualifications.

Pathway Four

Pupils access Level 2 English or Maths qualification     (retake in November) alongside 3 Level 3 courses. The remaining 3 will be a combination of A-Level and BTEC qualifications and/or the Extended Project
